§ 01 What we do

Four services, one person to call.

Take one or all four. Either way, you always deal with the same person.

  1. A new website, simple and good-looking

Your site is old, hard to read on a phone, or you don’t have one yet. We build a new one, with you.

    • Easy to read on a phone or a computer
    • Your text rewritten with you, in your own words
    • Opening hours, address and phone number easy to spot
    • Pages that load quickly
  2. Getting found on Google

When someone searches for “butcher Limal” or “joiner Wavre”, they should find you. We don’t promise the top spot, but we do everything needed for Google to understand who you are.

    • Every page says clearly what you do and where
    • Your address and opening hours written so Google can read them
    • The same contact details everywhere online
  3. Your Google profile, with the map

That’s the box that appears with the map when someone looks up your business. Customers often see it before your website. We fill it in and keep it up to date.

    • Correct opening hours, including bank holidays and closures
    • Photos of your shop or workshop
    • Help replying to customer reviews
  4. We look after everything afterwards

New opening hours, a new photo, a problem? You call or email us, and we take care of it.

    • Updates and protection against hacking
    • Backup copies of your site
    • Small changes whenever you need them

§ 02 Pricing

What does it cost? You know before you say yes.

No surprises: the price is on the quote, before we start. The amounts below give you a rough idea.

  • Meeting and mock-up

    Free

We look at your current site, come and see you and show you a mock-up of your new site. You pay nothing and you’re not committed to anything.

  • New website

From [amount to be added] €

Fixed price, stated on the quote. It mainly depends on the number of pages.

  • Upkeep

§ 03 How it works

Five steps, nothing technical for you.

At every step you know where things stand and what comes next.

  1. 01

    You get in touch

A phone call or the short form at the bottom of this page is all it takes.

  2. 02

    We come and see you

An hour at your shop or workshop, whenever suits you. You tell us about your customers and your trade.

  3. 03

    You get a free mock-up

A real page you look at on your phone. You tell us what you like, we adjust.

  4. 04

    We put the site online

Only once you’re happy. Your website address stays in your name.

  5. 05

    We stay around

Need a change? A phone call or an email is enough.

§ 04 Why change

What we often see on local websites.

Before starting the studio, we took a close look at local shop websites. This is what keeps coming up. Nothing dramatic at first sight — but your customers notice.

  1. Pages that Google can’t read.

The page has no proper title. Google, and people using a screen reader, can’t tell what it’s about. On a phone, you have to zoom.

  2. Sites not updated since 2018.

A neglected site can be hacked. And when that happens, there’s often no backup.

  3. Google doesn’t know it’s a business.

Nothing gives it the address or the opening hours. It guesses, or takes the information from somewhere else — sometimes wrong.

  4. Leftover technical text, live on the page: Il s’agit du contenu de la balise Div de disposition "txt-300".

It’s the first line on the site of a business that has been in Wavre for more than fifty years.

  5. Two different sets of opening hours on the same page.

6.30 pm in the text, 6 pm at the bottom, and Wednesday afternoon simply disappears. A customer who makes the trip for nothing doesn’t come back.

  6. An advert for “Créer un site web gratuit” (make a free website) at the bottom.

A workshop’s craftsmanship deserves better than an advert for the tool that built its site.

§ 05 Examples

Three local businesses, before and after.

Proposals made on our own initiative. These three businesses are not our clients and have not asked us for anything. We used their public websites to show what we do in concrete terms. Our mock-ups only use text from their sites; anything missing is clearly marked. The mock-ups themselves are in French.

Comptoir des Cafés et Thés

Coffee roaster and tea house · Wavre

Example — not affiliated

After: Studio Façade mock-up for Comptoir des Cafés et Thés, dark brown background, elegant large title and direct access to the online shop. Before: screenshot of the current Comptoir des Cafés et Thés website, brown background, logo and menu as images, a long block of text on a gradient, cookie banner at the bottom.
Before: current site · After: our mock-up

What wasn’t working

  • The logo and menu are images: Google can’t read them.
  • Leftover technical text is showing: contenu de la balise Div de disposition.
  • The whole history of the business sits in one long paragraph.

What we propose

An online shop: coffee by origin, tea by colour, fine groceries and Japanese tableware, with a basket. The feel of the shop counter without photos: typography, kraft paper and brass.

Boucherie Berger

Butcher and caterer, charcuterie, cheese · Limal (Wavre)

Example — not affiliated

After: Studio Façade mock-up for Boucherie Berger, red striped awning, large title “Votre boucher-traiteur à Limal” and a green roundel. Before: screenshot of the current Boucherie Berger website, large photo of the counter with the round logo in the centre, capitalised title, five illustrated sections.
Before: current site · After: our mock-up

What wasn’t working

  • Two versions of the opening hours on the same page.
  • Catering is mentioned, but there’s no menu and no way to order.
  • At the bottom: “© Copyright 2018”.

What we propose

A straightforward, readable site for a neighbourhood shop, with a four-step catering order: occasion, selection, collection, contact details. Opening hours in one place only.

Wood 95

Bespoke joinery · Wavre

Example — not affiliated

After: Studio Façade mock-up for Wood 95, dark background, large heavy title and projects drawn like workshop plans. Before: screenshot of the current Wood 95 website, shield-shaped logo, horizontal menu, large title “Ensemble, donnons vie à vos projets!” on a white background, then a background of dark planks.
Before: current site · After: our mock-up

What wasn’t working

  • A typo in the welcome line: sur mesure dan notre atelier.
  • Around twenty services hidden in a drop-down menu.
  • An advert for “Créer un site web gratuit” at the bottom.

What we propose

Projects sorted by type of work, the Google rating shown exactly as it is, and a quote request that asks the right questions from the start.
